The Fugro Offshore Survey Division is the market leader in offshore surveys, employing over 10,000 people from 55 offices in 39 countries. It maintains a fleet of survey vessels and underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and a high-accuracy Differential GPS worldwide positioning network. FSSI has conducted some of the largest international marine surveys awarded in recent years. FSSI systems have mapped more than 2.6 million square kilometers of seafloor to depths of over 9,500 meters, making us one of the more experienced deep sea survey companies in the world.
FSSI surveys result in detailed bathymetry, seabed and subbottom information to be used for the safe engineering, construction, installation and subsequent maintenance of client projects. Our survey data is used to determine or identify potential hazards, the existence of possible obstructions on the seabed, and the suitability of the seabed for a client’s project requirements. It is our objective to identify solid, technically grounded, economical solutions for our clients.
